Hello everyone. Currently we cannot post anything to facebook as Vietnam's restrictions are LEGIT. Technically there is no ban on facebook in Vietnam, but it is suspiciously spotty rendering it unusable. So for the time being this is going to be where we'll keep everyone posted. Anyway, Vietnam has been amazing so far.
Last night (Friday night for us) we had dinner at Vimaru (Vietnam Maritime) and were treated spectacularly. We also met up with professors Donna Nicic and Michelle Van Hoeck at the dinner, both who had been there before us. We then split off into our groups and spent friday night doing our own things. Saturday morning we then went to see a few pagodas with 5 students from Vimaru. It was awesome. Pictures to follow.

Xin Chào!
In less than 12 hours, 17 California Maritime Academy cadets will be departing to Vietnam. In the case that Vietnam blocks our Facebook access, this blog will follow our travels down the coast of Vietnam from Hai Phong to Ho Chi Minh City. Hopefully everyone is packed and ready to go!
